Wax Info for Wednesday Skate at Stark's Hill

WAX note from John

This wax recommendation from Roger is good for Fryeburg Wednesday as temps are predicted to be in the same range. You can use any wax manufacture in the range for 28-30F. A LF wax is a good substitute for the HF if this is what you have, also topcoats do help but at a cost. Do use the base graphite and brush well.

Coaches-
Below please find wax recs for the race this week. Please let us know if you have any questions or we can help in any way! Good luck!

WMC Race at Libby Hill ..... if elsewhere let me know where it is and I will rewrite.
Here is the forecast from noaa.gov
A 50 percent chance of snow showers, mainly before noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 29. Calm wind becoming northwest 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon.

The snow is very abrasive and a LF Graphite layer is a must to start. The best bet for a HF layer will be Ski*Go HF Violet. If you are putting a topcoat on then Ski*Go C44 block. If we don’t get new snow then C55/99 fluid will be even better...but if there is new snow it could be slow. If there is no new snow the Ski*Go C44/7 fluid would be a good choice.
