THE RACE WILL BE ON THE CAMPUS LOOP at Pineland, not Oak Hill. START/FINISH IN THE GROVE (the open area in the woods "behind" the Y).
ARRIVAL: Skiers should arrive 1 hour prior to their race start, so boys arrive at 2:30, girls arrive by 3:00. There will be a van from school departing at 2:05. It will return to school after the girls finish, but it's hard to predict the exact return time (likely around 5:15/5:30?). Skiers on the van can call from the road.
TOILETS: There will be two porta potties delivered near the metal gate at The Grove. Please do NOT go into The Market to use restrooms.
REMEMBER: Keep your mask on all the time. Clear the finish area immediately upon finishing. Stay at least 6 feet apart from everyone.
John will talk with skiers on Tuesday about waxing.
A reminder that spectators, even family members, are not allowed at this race, as it would put the event over the maximum number of people allowed. Parents dropping off and picking up their skiers need to remain away from the race site. Your skier will return to the car when they are finished racing. HOWEVER ... live-stream is available! Here is the link to watch the race from home - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nTNqQb8EOg. It should go live at 3:30. Sorry - turns out livestream won't be available after all.
Skiers not racing today are encouraged to ski on their own, either at Pineland - though not on the Campus Loop/race course or at Oak Hill (where another race is taking place) - or anywhere else convenient to them.
