Looking ahead to Saturday's Sassi Race

So far it looks like the Sassi race is still on for Saturday.  Here's what there is to know:

Race times:
Girls - 11:00

Boys - 1:00

Race Info:
Technique = Classic
Individual starts - 15 second intervals

Wax:
Look for a wax recommendation on Friday afternoon

Location:
Black Mountain
39 Glover Rd
Rumford

Transportation:
 - There will be one (or two if necessary) vans traveling from Desert Rd to the race.  Skiers must let Susan know by 5:00 on Friday if they want a seat on the van.
 - Van riders should arrive at Desert Rd by 7:05 for a prompt 7:15 departure
 - Return time will probably be around 5:30-5:45 (updated time).  Skiers can call from the road on the return trip.

Facilities:
Black Mountain has a lodge, indoor bathrooms and food available for purchase.  The food is standard ski lodge fare (hamburgers, pizza, french fries, etc.).  You are also welcome to bring your own food.

As always at Black Mountain, we should only take up table space in the lodge when we are actually at a table.  Otherwise skiers should store their bags in the cubbies provided.
