Things to remember for tomorrow's race in Fryeburg

Transportation:

• All skiers will be taking the vans from Desert Rd.
• It's hard to pinpoint an exact return time, but our best guess at this point is 6:15ish.
• Skiers can call/text from the road once we know a more exact time.
• The vans will be completely full, so skiers should bring just the skis they will be using, as space for skis will be extremely tight.
• Anything skiers don't need at the race should be left at school, tucked away in your locker or in the storage room off the student center, to be collected after we return to school.  The vans won't have room for book bags, etc.

Facilities:
There is NOT indoor space at Stark's Hill.
There is NO water available.
There are porta-potties.
There is no food available for purchase, so everyone needs to bring plenty of food to sustain them throughout the day.

What to Bring:

• CLASSIC skis, boots and poles
• Race suit
• Warm clothes for before and after your race
• Warm hat/mittens/etc.
• Lunch to be eaten in the van
• Snack for after you race
• Water bottle

Remember that it will be cold and the sun will be going down.  Skiers will be outside for 3+ hours, so be sure you bring enough warm clothing.
