Conditions certainly deteriorated over the weekend in most of Maine, so it is really important that your skis end up dirt free and in great shape for the state meet. We will once again be offering a Hotbox special for you as a team. We will offer a Nano CFC cleaning of each ski, leaving the base wax in the ski but thoroughly cleaning the ski out of all dirt or residual substances that might be in the base. Then we will put LF Graphite on the skis and bake them in our hotbox for five hours for deep penetration of the skis and race hardening. Normally this treatment process is $50, but we will be running a special for just $30 for all teams. The skis will come back to you race hardened and ready to scrape and brush and then apply HF wax to them. This is the single best prep process you can do to your skis before States, I have been using it for years and it has yielded tremendous results.
The details:
- We will turn the skis around in a 24 hour period, just schedule a time with us for your team skis to be cleaned and prepped.
- This process is good for both skate skis and classic skis in the glide zone.
- Skis must be free of ALL wax when they are brought in. Skate and classic skis should be scraped and brushed, and classic skis should be thoroughly cleaned including sidewalls of all kickwax or klister. We will have to charge $10 additional if we have to do any cleaning.
- Cash is the preferred payment method for this program as we lose 3.5% on every CC transaction and this deal is already cutting a close margin.
